We train learners to think of physics in terms of scales - classical (theories and concepts) and modern physics (quantum properties at the atomic and sub-atomic level) .

1. Learners are required to know how to apply and calculate using base quantities and units (eg. mass (kg), length (m), time (s), current (A), temperature (K) etc), prefixes and their symbols (eg. nano (n), micro (µ), milli (m), centi (c), deci (d) etc).

2. Understand Newton's 3 Laws of Motion and Universal Gravitation, explain and calculate Kinematics in terms of speed, velocity and acceleration.

3. Explain and predict the physical properties and changes of matter at the molecular level in relation to heat or thermal energy transfer, with the kinetic model of matter.

4. To define longitudinal and transverse waves such as sound (acoustic) and light (optic) waves, its speed, frequency, wavelength, period and amplitude.

5. The study of concepts of current, voltage and resistance. Some examples such as DC vs AC, Ohm's Law and how to define and calculate the Electromotive Force, known as e.m.f .

1. Learners will be taught which are the appropriate apparatus to be used for their experiments to measure time, temperature, mass and volume, including burettes, pipettes, measuring cylinders and gas syringes, the
methods of purification and analysis, as well as the identification of ions and gases.

2. The ability to deduce relative masses and numbers of protons, neutrons and electrons in atomic structures, as well as being proficient in constructing and interpreting chemical equations with state symbols.

3. Understanding the definition of Redox and how it results in gaining or losing of oxygen/hydrogen/electrons when reaction takes place and the characteristics of Acids, Bases, Salts and Ammonia.

4. Understanding the various relationships of elements, metals and their group properties in the Periodic Table and the reactivity series when it comes to Iron. 

5. The study of composition of gases in the air, the pollutants and greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming.

6. Knowing how to identify homologous series of alkanes, alkenes, alcohol and carboxylic acids.

1. Learners are expected to know how to identify cell structures between animal and plant cells, relationship between cell function and cell structure, and how to differentiate the cell, tissue, organ and organ system. Ability to define movement of substances such as  diffusion, osmosis and active transport, as well as describing the different tests to identify presence of starch, reducing sugars, protein and fats respectively, and how enzymes work.

2. By now, your child would have known the basics about photosynthesis. However, this is where we dive deeper into the nutrition and transportation of plants, how it transpires (gaseous exchange) and translocates food.

Thereafter, they'll learn about the human circulatory systemrespiratory (aerobic/anaerobic), excretion, homeostasis and the responses of our nervous system.

3. Reproduction in plants:
(Asexual, pollinations, functions of the sepals, petals, anthers, carpels, stamens and stigmas, fertilisation and cell division.


And humans:
Functions of male and female reproductive organs, menstrual cycle, STDs & HIV, structure of DNA, genetics, inheritance, and the determination of gender – XX and XY chromosomes.

4. Lastly, the study of energy flow, food chain, carbon cycle, 
ecosystem, environmental biotechnology, and conservation for our planet Earth.
